Project Overview

Survey Air delivered a phased UAV media programme, documenting the redevelopment at Browells Lane, Feltham from pre-demolition through to practical completion. High-resolution aerial photography and video were captured over five visits, creating a complete visual record of the development from demolition through to completion.

Planned from project inception, the media supported construction progress reporting, stakeholder communications, project marketing and future tender submissions, while providing a consistent archive that could be repurposed throughout the development lifecycle.

Challenge

Producing a coherent construction progress record required consistent image composition across an eighteen-month programme, despite changing site conditions, weather, and construction activity. Each visit combined wide contextual aerial views with detailed construction imagery and internal spaces to create a structured visual timeline.

Coordinating UAV operations within a live construction environment also required close collaboration with the site team to coordinate UAV operations around demolition, steel erection and live construction activities without affecting programme delivery.

Approach

Survey Air established repeatable flight plans and milestone-based capture intervals, ensuring aerial photography and video could be directly compared throughout every stage of construction. Each visit combined contextual site overviews with detailed progress imagery to create a structured visual timeline.

The final mobilisation incorporated cinematic completion footage, including internal fly-throughs, providing a reusable media library supporting marketing, stakeholder engagement, bid submissions and future project promotion.
