Project Overview
Survey Air was instructed to provide digital media services, comprising aerial imagery, video footage and ground-based photography, showcasing recent refurbishment works of premium warehouse units situated on the outskirts of Croydon.
The primary objective was to provide marketing assets that effectively highlighted the extensive upgrades, including new curtain walling and glazing, renewable installations, and health and safety improvements to the rear yard area.
Challenge
The primary challenge was ensuring comprehensive visual coverage of the key refurbishment features while working within an active industrial estate, for example when flying the drone internally and transitioning through the rear loading doors.
Difficulty capturing high-level and intricate areas of work also posed a challenge, requiring precise camera positioning and advanced UAV equipment to create clear and detailed visuals via a multi-faceted approach.
Approach
We adopted both aerial and ground-based media to ensure comprehensive coverage of the site, incorporating a aerial quadcopter, custom-built FPV drone and professional cinema camera with adjustable lenses.
Our team conducted all flights within CAA regulations, in coordination with on-site personnel. The final deliverables would be used across promotional materials and digital platforms to promote the impressive refurbishment works.
